So I just updated this blog, www.ThisIsTattoo.com, with a few buttons on the right. 2 of which will get you over to twitter where you can follow me (ill post about this later). Also, on the right you will see a button that says ‘the retrieval project’ on it.
This is a blog that was just started by my wife, Jen, and I to help enable us to get our ‘STUFF’ from Minnesota. There are going to be a series of 100, 8×10 inch original paintings for sale ($40 per painting) up on the site shortly. 50 paintings will be done by me and 50 paintings will be done by my wife.
Please visit the site and check out. There you will be able to read all of the details of why this was created and how it will all work. http://retrievalproject.blogspot.com/

Hey everybody welcome back to ThisIsTattoo.com. Aspiring tattooer, Manny Negron from Sterling, VA contacted me and wanted me to see some paintings he had done after watching my ‘Painting Tattoo Flash using Watercolor’ instructional course. This kid is killin’ it already after watching my painting course.
I was so stoked on his paintings I wanted to give this guy some props here at ThisIsTattoo.com. Here is a pic of his most recent painting and what he had to say about the ‘Painting Tattoo Flash using Watercolor’ instructional course.

“My Name is Manny Negron I’m 22 years old from sterling Virginia, right outside of washington DC. I am an aspiring tattoo artist currently in search of an apprenticeship. I found out about your course through a good friend of mine who recommended i look into it. I’d just like to say that this was the best money I have ever spent and probably will ever spend for that matter. Your course answered so many questions that i had and could never figure out as i had been trying to learn water color for the past 8 months and had no success. I can’t thank you enough for making this information available and for compiling it in such a straight forward and easy to follow series. I’ve seen a tremendous improvement in my artwork and I cant wait to see where I go from here. Thanks a ton!”

A week ago or so we sent our 9 and 11 year old to summer camp where they would spend a week with 4 of their cousins. I decided I would send them some sort of letter so they would get mail during the week. After giving it some thought I decided I would put a little painting in each envelope also. So i took some scrap watercolor paper and cut it into six 3×3 squares.
Then, over the next hour I lined out and painted these little gifts for my kids, neices, and nephews! Because I was in such a hurry to get the in the mail I used some old tattoo designs from the Pike. So the lines are Pike tattoo flash and the painting is me. (done very quick and loose!)
So here are the tattoo paintings for the campers: (hope you like)

So there are the camper paintings done for son, daughter, and nieces ranging in age from 8 to 11 years old.
Thanks for taking a look!
