Cicatrix tattoo just had a grand re-opening/art show and I painted a 30×40inch piece for the show. The show was held May 10th at Cicatrix tattoo, which is located at 3991 17th street in SF.
There was a lot of great tattooers who had pieces in the show including: Ryan Groebler, Dave Gibson and the crew from Stay True Tattoo in Dublin, George Campise and Jason Kundell from Seventh Son Tattoo, Greg Rojas and Luke Francis from Everlasting Tattoo, Tommy and Lisa from Haight Ashbury Tattoo, Marco and Megan from Picture Machine Tattoo, and Jason Storey from One Shot Tattoo.
The show was attended by bunches of people as well, some coming from as far as Salt Lake City to check things out! Tee Jay Hernandez, former owner of Idle Hand Tattoo, and now part owner of Cicatrix was on scene, as well as Doug Hansen from Everlasting Tattoo. Also, making an appearance was well known SF artist and Cicatrix counter guy Paul “Moppy P” Urich and Dave from the Pizza Place on Noriega.
Overall, the show was a success and a really good time. Here are a few pics of my painting done for the show. It is entitled “Help Me Im Dying” and is for sale for $250.00
